What I’m Watching

07 AUG 18:

Just recently finished the entire 10 seasons of Smallville on Hulu in the last month and a half. Intense and WOW if that doesn’t incentivise you to start “binging” stuff, I don’t know what will. 220-something episodes without waiting weeks/months to continue? GLORIOUS.

02 JAN 16:

Been going to the Movie Theater A LOT lately. I’ve seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens FIVE times. Also, snuck The Hateful Eight in there; The Hateful Eight may be Quentin Tarantino’s best movie. Ever. IMHO

30 NOV 15:

The Walking/Talking Dead. I mean, what good is a show without its after-show. Hail Chris Hardwick!

Netflix: Just finished The 100 and Hemlock Grove; two little-known TV show gems on Netflix. Good stuff.

Last night was Dredd and The Dark Knight. Tomorrow: White Christmas.
23 OCT 14:

The Walking Dead – Loving the new season so far! I’m also rewatching the series from the beginning on Netflix.

Horror movies on Netflix – There’s a category to really celebrate the season with flicks such as, Nosferatu, Shadow of the Vampire, Children of the Corn and many others.

The Blacklist – My favorite new drama of last year is back on NBC! YAY!

The Schmoes Know Network – Lots of great entertaining commentary on movies. Shows include The Schmoes Know Movie Show, Schmoes Know Reviews, Profiles with Malone and Mantz, Guilty Movie Pleasures and several more wonderful and fun shows.

27 AUG 14:

House, M.D. – I had binge watched the first 4 or 5 seasons a few years back. Killed season 5-8, ending with the Series Finale, “Everybody Dies” and was pleasantly surprised with the ending.

True BloodLOVE this show and it was heart-wrenching to watch the Series Finale. “Thank You.”

Also trying to rewatch any Robin Williams movies I can get ahold of at this moment. He was such a tremendous influence in my life. He will be missed greatly.

I think it’s time I move back to something more light-hearted, like Star Trek: Voyager or Deep Space Nine. I may even choose seaQuest DSV with my beloved, the late Jonathan Brandis.

13 JUN 14:

NBC’s Undateable with Brent Morin, Chris D’Elia, Ron Funches, Rick Glassman, David Fynn, Briga Heelan, and Bianca Kajlich… Hilarious show with some great riffing comics and witty writing. Another fantastic program from Bill Lawrence, who brought you Scrubs.

NBC’s The Blacklist with James Spader, Megan Boone and an incredible cast, making this my new favorite drama.

Also been watching Star Trek: The Next Generation on Netflix with Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard, arguably one of the best Captains in Star Trek history. On season 7 with just under 20 shows until the incredibly sad, yet remarkably memorable last episode: “All Good Things.”

25 AUG 13:

I’d say 90% of my TV watching has been consumed with Law & Order: Criminal Intent or Special Victims Unit. I’ve always been intrigued with legal and medical dramas and yet, had never gotten into L&O until recently. Now I’m obsessed! Sprinkled here and there are movies that I DVR. Then again I also LOVE going to the movies from time to time to see the things that MUST be seen on the big screen.

08 FEB 13:

Lately I’ve been getting into multiple series OnDemand. I watched the entire first season of House of Lies on Showtime starring Don Cheadle. Very interesting show about the BS behind what a “Consultant” does and how the game is played.

I also watched the entire Second and Third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race on Netflix and was stoked to find out that season five was about to begin. Before Monday’s premier LOGO reran season four and I got all caught up! It’s a blast to watch and I just love it!!!
